Brighton Botanicals acts as a haven for artists from near and far. As such, it serves as a perennial participant in “Paint the Hartland”.
Rachel Ann Macdonald, a well known artist, gave birth, several years ago, to the idea of Paint the Heartland. Paint the Hartland is now hosted by the Town of Hartland every year and Brighton Botanicals is one of the places to choose from to come to paint during this event.
Rachel also frequently visits Brighton Botanicals to paint by herself and with her classes. The new info for this year's Paint the Heartland (2007) has not yet been posted on the Hartland site, but Rachel is on the committee and may be used as the contact person for more information. This event is open to anyone that paints regardless of experience or skill. Brighton Botanicals looks forward to painters and return painters every year during this event
